After a strong showing in March, home sales remain poised to accelerate on a year-to-year basis as we enter the beginning of the period when home sales began to be affected by the lockdown last year. Based upon the first 4 weeks of data, home sales were up by more than 50% from the first 4 weeks of April 2020.

Alameda's low inventory and high demand are at a fever pitch. More single family homes have sold in April than in February or March while the number of days a house is for sale is only nine days and average sale prices have increased 21% from March to April. The average Alameda house list price is $1,309,075 and the average sale price is $1,548,325. Looking back just five years to 2016, the average Alameda house sold for just $1,016,581. Looking back ten years ago to 2011, the average house sold for approximately $597,000.

In a red hot market such as we're in, home sellers definitely benefit by using an experienced Alameda agent to negotiate multiple offers from buyers. We will give you the white glove personal service you deserve because since we live here we can come to your property as many times as it takes to deliver the best results.  Your property value HAS CHANGED and website estimates can't keep up.
